werd,my Defensive Lacrosse coach in High School owns Winstons. we had our end of season feast there.BIG MISTAKE, you don't let an army of hungry teens eat food at a place like Winstons.

2/4/2008 6:09:55 PM
hmm.... I'm assuming thats one of those things that is a combination of items that are all enjoyable on their own, but sound funky as shit together, yet tastes good despite that.
2/4/2008 6:13:26 PM
where is rockford?
2/4/2008 6:13:32 PM
its on glenwood, almost right across from hibernian, but it's just a door from the street since the restuarant is upstairs. (i forget the name of the business underneath it).
2/4/2008 6:15:16 PM
It's important to note that the ABC is Granny Smith apples, bacon, and cheddar...on french toast.
2/4/2008 6:16:40 PM
well, captain details... what type of cheddar, and what flavor of bacon are they?

I don't know the specifics of the bacon or cheddar, but the fact that they're Granny Smith apples instead of Red Delicious and that it's on french toast instead of regular bread makes a difference in how one envisions the flavor. ]

Never had the ABC at The Rockford. The chicken prosciutto, blue maxx, and the crab cake sandwich are money. The spinach artichoke dip is a good appetizer as is the crab cake appetizer.
