My 4 hours of sleep is currently aided and abetted by only a diet coke. Lunch will have a caffeine course, I do believe.

{sidenote: I am old. 4 hours of sleep was about the norm back in my undergraduate days...}

Instant coffee is great for making homemade ice cream (as was mentioned earlier) and also for making dry rubs for roasting meats.
