I opened a paper I have been working on from my email. Finished it up and just hit save along the way (not save as). At the end I hit save one more time and exited. Only to realize I have no clue where the file is. Tried searching for the file name and checking in temp files. Much to my dismay I have had no luck. Looks like I just lost a few pages and will have to write it over.

Can't you just start another file, do "save as", and see where it is saving by default?
