I was just thinking about colonics.....and magnesium citrate. Magnesium is supposed to get everything out your bowels right? And so are colonics...? One just cost a lot more and can't be done in the privacy of your own home right?

4/29/2008 7:30:18 PM
Chief I was just looking over at youtube for some new videos...sadly, there weren't that many But colon cleansing isn't a by-product that would satisfy me. I need to see 'relief', instant gratification and while I might find it interesting to watch the clear tube used in a colonic...there's no 'AHA!' moment. Those moments only come with things like ingrown hairs and cysts, zits, or pimples popping. On another note...Was having a conversation about magnesium citrate last night...anyone ever used it?

NSFW, contains footage of colonic http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RGCRmI9ndYU3 parts to that, one of the topics they cover is the colon cleansing scam.[Edited on April 29, 2008 at 7:41 PM. Reason : ]
4/29/2008 7:40:51 PM
^which part would that be in...cause I ain't watching all that bullshit...(no pun intended)
4/29/2008 7:44:54 PM
They cover most of it in the first segment, but it's a funny show and worth watching the whole episode. They come back to it in the last part a little bit too.
4/29/2008 7:45:49 PM
isn't the stuff that comes out just the product itself?
4/29/2008 7:46:57 PM
In a colonic? If by product you mean water they pump into your ass, yes. With cleansing products? Usually not because you'd have to either fast or eat a LOT of their product for that to make up the bulk of your shit. Most of them either do nothing (like the 43 dollar a package cleansing product that's actually just sugar they show in the video I linked to) or just act as laxatives. In that case, you're just shitting out stuff you were already digesting and might not have even finished digesting.
4/29/2008 7:56:45 PM
oh....NSFW btw. other than the obvious...anyone notice anything interesting about this
4/29/2008 8:00:05 PM

I've sat through a number of colonoscopies and after the liquid diet and laxatives for 24 hrs. all the colons I've seen were squeaky clean all the way from the rectum to the sigmoid and these were in people who didn't look like they had ideal diets... overweight, diabetic, on painkillers (which cause epic constipation), etc. Btw if I were gonna get or give an enema I'd make sure it was isotonic with body fluids. Soft water enemas and diarrhea alike can cause severe electrolyte imbalances with effects as severe as cardiac arrhythmias and eventually death. (I've seen atrial flutter with PVCs caused by this in an otherwise healthy individual)

I know most people take dumps every few days. Is it normal to take a dump everyday? My friend wants to know.
4/29/2008 8:31:10 PM
every day is considered normal.
4/29/2008 8:32:25 PM
My ex claims to take 4-6 dumps a day on average. And he further claims that they are 'proper' shits...not tiny ones.
4/29/2008 8:32:32 PM
^^^^"rectum to sigmoid" is only like 5 inches of your colon
4/29/2008 8:38:58 PM
