Hillary has been running a TV ad that says her solution to the high gas prices is to use the windfall profits of the oil companies to eliminate the gas tax for the summer, and that Obama is against it.

Has to be one of the most moronic ideas I've ever heard. How would she plan to force corporations to give up part of its profits? Even if somehow such a law forcing the distribution of windfall profits could get passed, it would be tied up in courts for years.

Obama and anyone with common sense would be against this plan.

^Doubt it.. The last time a Democrat won an election was Bill, who ran from a red state (Arkansas). Before that the last Democrat was Jimmy Carter who was from Georgia. Before that was Lyndon B. Johnson, who ran from Texas.

Liberal-ass John Kerry obviously didn't cut it. Al Gore almost did, but remember he was from Tennessee.

Now running a black man or a woman makes a lot of sense doesn't it?

both times, W's opponents where white males so what's your point?

the democrats pretty much count on losing the South anyway. they don't even bother to campaign here. So if a black dude can't win Mississippi, who cares? A white Democrat wouldn't win it either. The only states that matter are the ones that occasionally change their minds about whether they're red or blue.

My main point, stated earlier, was that if the Democrats wanted to win this election, they should've ran a candidate that is from a red state, or at least one of those states that "can't decided what color they are."

And i'm saying that running an african american or a female won't help win these states.
