i have a gas range.one where when you turn it on, the gas comes on, a little wire sparksboom.boil water.well.i just used the stove.and the whole time the wire was sparking.(it makes a loud click sound)now it won't go off.the wire just keeps sparking and sparking.like every second.srsly.who the fuck do i call.its been doing it for like 20 minrange stove whatever.seriously im about to cry.[Edited on May 5, 2008 at 4:25 PM. call cody he could probably look at it... there is a little contact switch that sends current to the igniter it has somehow become stuck (probably food residue) you need to de-stickaffie it .(seriously hitting the range near the knob might work)

unplug it, pull it away from the wall a few inches and find where it plugs inor in the mean time cut off the breaker to that part of the house if it's really driving you bat shit crazy
