I so want to get back into charcoal, I was kick-ass at that back in the day. I did this one of my bf in his grandfather's Navy cap and brought it to him in puppy-dog fashion (I was 15 and needed reinforcement in every which way), and he literally took it off to a back room to lay it down and stare at it.

I walked in on him a few minutes later and he had torn it down the middle.

Ah, teenagers.

I did a charcoal wolf in high school art class and sold it at the local art gallery for like $50 (and not even to my parents!).

That was the pinnacle of my artistic achievements.

thats what i meant...imo they are similar...good use of light colors...most people think the ocean is blue but its not
