its got like 15 fights and tickets are like 30 bucks


plus afterwards is an afterparty at ESS downtown where u can watch the UFC PPV free....

yeah i was sick the week before the tourney so i gassed quick after i got the TD
the TD is what won me the match... I should've just let him sub me or not entered at all 'cause i could barely move after that match

it was a tournament in New Bern like november 06 or something. I see him and his boys at all the tourneys now

Someone from my judo school is having his MMA debut that night. Derrick Jefferson. Not so sure on how his conditioning is, though, but he should put out a good showing.

mantisstunna had the fuckin fight of the night and won by submission in the third round, his strikes and his ground fighting was amazing

if u read this man get up with me u could teach me alot, i like how you controlled that guys aggression and you got out of some gritty situations

I was kinda when I saw it was $30 dollar bucks.

When I saw it was 17 fights I just wished I had budgeted an extra $30 dollar bucks for entertainment this month.

^^^i was looking forward to seein derrick fight since u had mentioned him


unfortunately he lost in about 15 seconds due to a guillotine i believe

he got caught, and he tried to do some really nice lookin roll but the opponent was well disciplined and kept the hold and forced the tap


id say the figts were wirth 30 bucks, my one complaint is that the refs let people get beat on and chocked out a lot longer than he should have, in one instance a guy was clearly asleep and it took the ref literally 6 seconds of the guy layin limp do finally even begin to check him for limpness

there were a few times a guy was hit 6 or seven times after being out before the ref stepped in, i dont like that stuff

its mostly local, but there were fighters from all over the country at this event

i wouldn't argue that it wasn't worth it, but a price like that keeps the mildly curious (like me) away

i'd throw down $10 and be okay with it even if it sucked

but $30 i ain't prepared to spend on something where the quality is unassured

i was just wondering if there was some sort of $texas license they had to pay the state or county to hold it

because i know dorton is fucking cheap to rent (considering the size)
