my brother once fell off the top bunk and hit his face on the wood toy box on the way down.

Oh yeah waking up and jumping or "falling" is really weird. I have that happen rarely now, but I used to wake up and feel like I just fell into bed all the time as a kid. Those were the weirdest. I don't think I've had nightmares in a while, actually...
