This is more about the girls who were insecure growing up, so they would always laugh as loud as possible so that everyone could hear them and be jealous that they couldn't hear something that funny.

i do have a friend who has the worst laugh EVAR. My mom loved her growing up because her snorting made my mother die laughing, which made my friend snort/wale louder, causing mother to laugh harder.....
