In Korea, you are 1 year old at birth. You add 1 year to your age every new years day (not your birthday).I'm 22 =/

154 oh wait, that's like dog years....
5/23/2008 6:48:38 AM
so in other words, you're one year older if it's earlier in the year than your birthday?
5/23/2008 7:10:12 AM
no, you're 2 years older
5/23/2008 7:21:04 AM
No I thought it was you turn one year old 3 months after you birth.

"You aren't 21 yet. I can't sell you alcohol!""But I'm 21 in Korean years!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!""GTFO!"
5/23/2008 9:29:50 AM
^^ that could be true. koreans do the nasty and mark their birthdays on the day that their parents conceived them.
5/23/2008 1:36:01 PM
My birthday is 12/31, so this doesn't change much.
5/23/2008 1:36:52 PM
I was 2 when I was actually only 17 days old (b-day is 12/14). This system is fucking stupid.
5/23/2008 2:01:54 PM
24
5/23/2008 2:42:10 PM

5/23/2008 4:02:34 PM

5/23/2008 4:05:02 PM
So wait, everyone has the same birthday? Also, if you were born in December you would be 2 years old even though you were born less than a month before?[Edited on May 23, 2008 at 4:11 PM. Reason : that system is stupid]
5/23/2008 4:07:49 PM
that makes me 27.
5/23/2008 4:10:16 PM
^^thats what it sounds like. that would have to be the craziest night of the yr. imagine if it was in america...would be bad.
5/23/2008 4:25:02 PM
that is a stupid system. how are you already 1 at birth? I'd be 22.
5/23/2008 4:25:07 PM
i'm starcraft years old
5/23/2008 4:35:29 PM
this is the same system they use for the age of horses. hence why it's favorable to have your horse foal early in the year, so your new horse will have several months age as an advantage in competitions.
