new house needs some love. we repainted most of the house. put up a fence. put in a breakfast bar.

we'll remodel the master bathroom, re-side the house, put in a paved driveway, start a garden, and renovate the kitchen. the kitchen is our priority ATM.

the job is great. the boss and grad students are all awesome. i'm becoming the lab animal coordinator (for frogs) as well as the general lab tech. i've also been working on creating transgenic frogs, screening them, and breeding them.

needless to say, big change from being a student in an apartment.

i spent about 150ish dollar bucks to fill up my beer fridge with some good beer... then that weekend i had people over and it all disappeared... I haven't fully stocked it with all good stuff since (it is still full, but mostly of light beer and a couple six-ers of some of my choice goodies)
