that hydrogen cell shit is where it's really atwe'll be lucky to even see an aptera in real life on the east coast.
6/5/2008 4:01:19 PM
i'm gonna go buy a humvee today and crush that piece of shit when i see it
6/5/2008 4:02:59 PM
It's cool and all, but I was thinking the same thing. If you get in a wreck there has to be like a .000001% chance of survival.

Rather wait for the Chevy VoltUses no gas (all electric) for trips less than 40 miles.Over 40 miles it uses a small gas engine to recharge the batteries, extending the range to over 500 miles.4 seats.Actually looks like a car (a good looking one too IMO) and not some kind of gay insect.Recently approved for 2010 launchhttp://www.reuters.com/article/pressReleasesMolt/idUSN037009220080603[Edited on June 5, 2008 at 4:13 PM. I would totally buy an aptera for my daily commute and keep my Evo for track/weekends.
6/5/2008 4:25:47 PM

6/5/2008 4:27:07 PM

6/5/2008 4:37:09 PM
6/5/2008 4:38:25 PM

Speaking of the fuel cells/hydrogen cells, I'm working with some nanotech stuff that could make them usable in powering cars. I'm pretty stoked.
6/5/2008 5:40:10 PM
arnt they already powering cars???
6/5/2008 5:55:57 PM
I post this in regards to the volt.
6/5/2008 5:58:41 PM
hydrogen takes way more energy to make than you get out of it. it's cool with me, job security.
6/5/2008 6:23:49 PM
the volt was originally supposed to be under 30, but it looks like it will be between 40 and 50, which economically doesn't really help with gas prices, even when gas is 4 bucks.

(the volt that is)
