eh for me it's a free trip and gives me a chance to unwind somewhere other than Raleigh. I've been busy as hell at work for the last few months and need a break. So I'm gonna take advantage of a free excursion with a few friends and take the time to relax and party a little bit before I grind out another couple of months around the office.

i've never been...the "traditional" cancun scene doesn't really appeal to me, but hanging out on isla mujeres would be fun...also, i'd really like to visit some of the mayan ruins, and my understanding is that there are some that aren't too far from cancun
