yeah we started to sit through that (5:45ish), but we turned around just after 364 at an emergency vehicles only cut through and took hwy 50 around it.

we could've gotten off earlier, but enjoyed the detour route through the country and took it all the way to garner.

if i had known about it, i woulda gotten off at exit 373 and rode through Warsaw and Faison. Exit 355 (the construction exit) was where i was getting off anyway

it made a usual 5-hr drive much much longer back to VA

i called 511 and apparently there was an accident recently that caused damage to the bridge...it will be like that until june 26th while they repair it

i just spent 45 minutes between lake wheeler road and gorman street, fuck assholes who ride in the closed lane till the last minute, and seriously fuck the assholes who let those motherfuckers in!

on the dot website it said there was an accident over the weekend, and there's bridge construction under the overpass, and the west bound lane will be closed right there until thursday, 6/19. my step dad went through that saturday afternoon, but he said they just made him exit, drive over the overpass, then right back onto the interstate.. it just took forever because traffic was heavy... if there's no traffic there shouldn't be much of a delay in your drive.
