^She was riding in a car with a girl driving drunk, girl ran into a pole with (I think?) a red light camera on it, which came down on the car's roof. Unfortunately, the passenger died instead of the driver.

Wasn't there a guy who used to post in The Garage several years back who, well after he stopped posting here, died in a car accident? I think he drove a Mustang?
