anywhere from 8-10 hours at work all week....I'm kind of tired and just feel like mellowing out tonight

this week, the plan was to work 10 hours monday - thursday, and then take friday off to make a 40 hour week. but shit happens. I went in today....no biggie.

Saturday (aprox. 6:30p.m. to 10:30 p.m.): I went to see Hulk and ate at Firebirds in North Hills. It was damn good--Firebirds, that is. Hulk was just all right.

I don't go out because I don't like shitty bars, can't afford to go to nice bars, don't have anybody to go to nice bars with, and don't have any money to do anything anyway.

I also just had to start a blood pressure controlling diet which restricts me to 1.5 pints of beer in a 24 hour period, which is on top an already strict 2 pints of beer limit I put on myself to keep my diabetes from getting out of control.

Basically, going out is either zero sum or negative gain for me.

It has been at least 5 months or more since I have been "out." I don't go out because I have a kid and my husband is never home to watch him so I can go out.
