Tetanus is rare with human bites but possible. Other kinds of infections are more likely--human bites are very dirty.

not too deep, maybe 1/8 inch. Bleeding stopped in minutes

Bites on the fingers are high-risk for bacterial infection. Even if it appears small, it's possible that there was involvement of the tendon. Infections can develop rapidly and may have very few signs at first...

I'd strongly recommend getting a physician to take a look at it. Depending on what they see, you may need a course of antibiotics, and you'll probably get a tetanus booster if you haven't had one in the last few years.

Also, time can be a factor. If it's within 24 hours after the bite, you can often get away with oral antibiotics, while after that it might require IV treatment.
