Robbing a restaurant, especially in the morning is fucking dumb. Seriously, how much money could they have had? The only way that would make even a marginal amount of sense is if they had staked out and scouted to know when they do their deposit or something, and that's generally not on Monday morning.

^^actually monday morning is probably the best time to hit a restaurant. they're doing/transporting the deposit for either sunday (their 2nd busiest day) or the whole weekend (all 3 of their busiest days)

See, that's very dependent on when it's done on a business by business basis. Like I said, they'd have to have cased the place to know their deposit schedule. A lot of places do overnight drops or could have multiple deposits throughout the week or get armored car pick up.

I'd almost be willing to be that there is an employee involved if there was any significant amount of money stolen. This just doesn't seem like a pro job.
