i've never watched this show before but I LIKE IT.

so far i've seen Simon Cowell get the best time, and public transportation, a bicycle, and a boat beat a mercedes, and a man wading across a river beat a different car taking a roundabout route across the same river.

My anglophile lady turned me onto this show.
it's one of the better shows on BBC (after Dr. Who of course).
Sometimes I wish James would take a baseball bat to the biggun though. He gets too much shit on that show.

some of us have been addicted to the show for a very long time and refuse to wait...
+ the episodes posted have 0 commercials and show more crowd interaction then they do on the BBCA version.

I watch mine through my laptop onto the big tv though i know not everyone has this capability so i can understand the reluctance.

Note that the episodes that are shown on BBC America are NOT the same as the originals from the UK -- the ones shown here have things cut out so there's time for commercials. In the UK, there are no commercials; it's 1 solid hour of quality television.

Let me ruin something for the thread maker. A BMW M5 beat all the times on a newer episode I saw last night, I forgot who was driving though. I LOVE this show, I first started watching it last semester. My favorite one was when the 3 of them raced across Africa... that was hilarious.

The "Polar Special" is probably my favorite.

Just FYI if you join the FinalGear forums, you can look in their "Video Offers" section in the FTP threads, and find an FTP server to directly download the episodes instead of dealing with bittorrent. Many of those servers also have other things that Clarkson/Hammond/May have done -- documentaries and the like.

Is this the show where they go to Alabama with the Hilary 08 and Country music sucks stuff painted on their cars and then they go to a gas station that has a truck parked beside it and then a white trash women is like "I'm going to call my redneck gang", and then the scene switches but only 15 seconds have passed and the the truck that was previously parked beside the gas station pulls into the gas station with a bunch of Mexicans in the back of it and then they throw rocks at them and they run away but one of them had trouble getting their car started and then a whole bunch of Europeons started posting the video on message boards arguing that Americans are stupid because of this scene in this "reality" show?
