I've only ever had like 1.5 gfs. enough to be pretty upset for a while but definitely not to the point of crying. None of my close family members or friends have died, nor have any of those relationships gone sour.

That's not it at all. It's the emotional [no homo] sadness that happens after you realize you've lost someone you really care about. It's hard to get over it. I mean, I definitely don't cry over nothing but when you realize exactly what you've lost it's a pretty sad event.
