So my roommates and I have a huge 57 inch projection big screen TV that weighs close to 300 pounds and I need to get it out of my duplex. It was hell trying to move it in so just wondering if there is an easier way than muscling it the whole way. The toughest part will not be picking it up but carrying it down the steep ass stairs we have, and once we get it down the stairs we have to lift it over a ledge and haul it to the car. I have tried to call a few moving companies but they will not just move one TV. Any advice would me much appreciated.

300 lb 57inch TV? Not that much to wave your cock about these days.^only thing would be clearance through the doors and going down the stair well...and having an experienced hand truck driver [Edited on July 22, 2008 at 1:23 PM. Reason : i would know]

The TV wasnt that expensive its just old and huge
7/22/2008 1:23:17 PM
Don't put it on a dolly. It will take forever to get the picture back to normal after going down all those steps.
7/22/2008 1:23:31 PM
not if you have a helper who knows how to guide it down the stairs. you can be real gentle with dolleys.
7/22/2008 1:24:15 PM
we tried a hand truck to move it in but the one we had was just too small for it
7/22/2008 1:24:28 PM
yeh dont think the dude is trying to like braghe just has a 300 pound problem, that would be a problem for me too. im a little bitch man
7/22/2008 1:24:34 PM
those dollies with the belt slider things work pretty good
7/22/2008 1:26:00 PM
Whats the link to those arm strap things in the picture carrying the tv and bed?
7/22/2008 1:26:52 PM
7/22/2008 1:27:25 PM
who said anything about being gentle with 5 y/o's? and I would NOT want to use those hand straps for going down stairs, ESPECIALLY steep stairs. that seems like a load of trouble and something they weren't designed for.well, you might be able to[Edited on July 22, 2008 at 1:29 PM. Reason : after further pic looking]
