^^^i went out, didn't see any obvious flashes in the sky like fireworks. i'm close enough to the fairgrounds that i can see anything from there, but the noise definitely wasn't coming from that direction.

it seems to be gone now, haven't heard one in a minute or two (at least from inside). wierd.
