7/27/2008 8:11:47 PM
Whats the deal with TKE. I hear its the "loser" frat but seeing as how I hate frats maybe that makes it the "cool" frat?
7/27/2008 8:28:13 PM
get mad chicken disease...
7/27/2008 8:31:27 PM
6 days is a long time. 1 day is the health department rule for any meets in restaurants.
7/27/2008 8:44:39 PM
1-2 days after defrosting meAt is the rule of thumb in ANY kitchen.
7/27/2008 8:46:16 PM
yeah, i assume its been in the fridge the whole time. definitely isn't a good idea to leave raw meat for 6 days, so you better cook the hell out of it.and post results
7/27/2008 8:47:02 PM
yeahthat chicken is rotten
7/27/2008 8:54:21 PM
i wouldnt even risk it
7/27/2008 9:07:20 PM
Seriously, six days is a long time for fresh chicken. Imagine how long it was out prior to being frozen PLUS those six days. Ew.
7/27/2008 9:10:01 PM
People people people...
7/27/2008 9:12:08 PM
I like how everyone waited till after he ate it to say throw it out.
7/27/2008 9:13:57 PM
Today, we are all TKE-Teg.
7/27/2008 9:15:05 PM
if it smells and looks ok it is probably good to eat. That said I wouldn't have eaten it.
7/27/2008 9:17:19 PM
I ate it. Tasted fine. If something bad happens in the next 8-9 hrs I will let you know so you can laugh at me.

^ Yeah, that shit happened to me after I ate at a bojangles in king's mountain a couple of weeks ago. It goes away after 24 hours, but you feel like you wanna die the whole time. If you do get sick push water and shit...
7/27/2008 9:31:18 PM

7/27/2008 9:33:49 PM
^ Dammit, I wanted to post that!
7/27/2008 9:36:33 PM
if it smells bad I cooked some questionable chicken today. I smelled the hell out of it while trimming it, before marinating, AND while cooking. My bf had a good amount, and has been just fine today.
7/27/2008 9:37:41 PM
meh, put some vodka in the marinade--just in case
7/28/2008 12:19:36 AM
or just spray some Clorox on it.
7/28/2008 12:21:25 AM
Depends on how long it was between the time it was butchered and frozen the first time. If you bought it frozen and kept it frozen, 6 days should be just fine. If you bought it fresh, then froze it, its questionable. Just smell it. If it smells strongly or is discolored at all, toss it.
7/28/2008 12:26:39 AM
if you cook it and eat it and dieit was bad
7/28/2008 12:48:32 AM
Just eat it and see what happens.
7/28/2008 12:49:06 AM
^^^It was from a big frozen bag I got at Costco. So as long as its been in my possession its been frozen.going on 5 hrs now, things seem okay.
7/28/2008 12:57:05 AM
this thread is bringing back BAD BAD BAD memories
7/28/2008 12:58:54 AM
