THE BREWERY IS A PIECE OF SHITno good bands. ever. emo pieces of shit inhabit that place.we live in the age of shitty bands. no led zeppelins or CCRs or queens or styx for us youngsters. the end.
7/30/2008 2:45:10 AM
well good, you can keep emo-ing about not having anything to listen to...ive got plenty of music to listen to
7/30/2008 2:46:18 AM
^i too, have plenty of good music. in fact, most of my music is pre-1990. most of it is from the 70s. i've never been to a concert where the band wasn't around in the 70s. i'm just saying....
7/30/2008 2:47:50 AM
^i take it back. i went to a chili peppers concert. it was awesome.
7/30/2008 2:50:22 AM
^^ what if you expanded your horizons a little before you bashed the tastes of others? that would be insane.
7/30/2008 4:23:59 AM
when i've been to the brewery it was decent...that was with metal bands though[Edited on July 30, 2008 at 4:26 AM. Reason : and Fareako was playing]
7/30/2008 4:26:23 AM
I love playing the brewery...good sound and a good vibe. Only problem is that the standard crowd there is hardcore. Being a death metal band, I don't like seeing pit ninjas.
7/30/2008 4:39:46 AM
[NO] [NEVER]
7/30/2008 5:53:41 AM
7/30/2008 8:43:21 AM
hahaha awesome, that's what I like to see. I remember back in the day, the first time I went to a show that tried to mix hardcore and metal bands. I'd never been to a hardcore show, so when I get there I just threw myself into the pit and knocked over the first guy I saw. He gets up and gets all in my face, along with 3 of his shitdick friends, yelling and screaming about some shit. Apparently you're not supposed to touch people in a ninja pit. Now the only time I really "mosh" anymore is when there are kids dancing to a metal band because they haven't learned the fine art of a brutal circle pit. I enjoy acting like a "wrecking ball," bouncing around off the pit walls and fucking up their dances. I endure lots of blows to the head, but it's worth it to see a handful of kids get all upset and try to start fights[Edited on July 30, 2008 at 1:25 PM. Reason : fasdf]
7/30/2008 1:23:37 PM
ughclassic rock fans.*shudder*i mean death metal's not my thing either, but the 70's wasn't the greatest time for Rock. If it were so good, then Disco wouldn't have nearly killed it.BUT ANYWAYSthe Brewery's alright.
7/30/2008 1:26:49 PM
you silly hessians and not understanding hardcore dancing.
7/30/2008 1:28:07 PM
I worked as a bouncer for a hardcore show. Some kid was kicked in the head and knocked out. I had to drag him out of the pit and carry him outside. When he woke up, he asked me where his phone and wallet where. In the few seconds it took me to get to him, all his shit had been taken.20 minutes later, he is back in the pit.
7/30/2008 1:30:50 PM
it just looks stupid. it makes me embarrassed for the person doing iti'm fully okay with people enjoying music however they want, whatever gets your rocks off...just don't do it at my show
7/30/2008 1:33:35 PM
wats goin on in here?
7/30/2008 1:33:50 PM
Shit has been going on longer than you kids have been alive, and it will continue to go on when you grow bored of the scene.
7/30/2008 1:37:16 PM
there's a difference between true (original) hardcore moshing and this sissy shit kids do for screamo bands
7/30/2008 1:41:37 PM
I just don't want Raleigh to turn into Wilmington. Every time I go to a show down there I see way too much violence for the stupidest reasons.Attn Ninjas: If you repeatedly run into or mule kick the same person he is probably going to beat your ass. Nobody is scared of your 5 skinny friends with a combined weight of 600 lbs either. Congratulations; you all just got kicked out.
7/30/2008 1:49:50 PM
Actually it is no different. Shit is just catching on down here. Kids have "kick boxed" in NY, RI, MA, NH, VT, ME, PA, NJ and CT since Ive been going to shows...which dates back to 86.
7/30/2008 1:51:58 PM
hahaha every time i get into the pit i always become the ladder to crowd surfing...dude duude throw me up man
7/30/2008 1:54:29 PM
If there is crowd surfing, there probably isnt a real "pit"
7/30/2008 1:57:20 PM
haha yeah i get tapped on the edge to pass someone forward... you can't crowd surf over the pit everyone knows that.. the pit is where you fall if you don't make it to stage.
7/30/2008 1:58:45 PM
I know what you mean, I was at an Avail show in Richmond right up in front of the stage, and fucking every stage diver used me as scaffoldingand my head as a leaping post
7/30/2008 2:09:46 PM
Early 90's > 70s
