I'm talking about how you eat it after it's made. I always put the PB and the jelly on different pieces of bread, and then put them together. consumption is with the pb on the bottom.

I like to make grilled PB&J sammiches.

Like a grilled cheese, but with PB&J.

I always butter and toast the bread on both sides, so...in goes the bread for round one.
Then, out of the pan, and peanut butter on one slice (toasted side) and Jelly on the other slice. I have no jelly preference, though strawberry rocks.

Then back in the frying pan to grill the outsides. And smoosh flat.

Damn, it's good.

One time when I had only creamy PB, I crushed up some pretzels and put them on there.

It actually wasn't bad. Not as good as crunchy, but a good substitute in a pinch.
