I think so, but it worked with people's AOL names also. When we canceled AOL it let me keep the screenname for AIM.

how the hell are you supposed to know this? i liked my first aim name better than the one i have now but this is the one everyone knows. i think i have had it since 7th grade. it is pretty lame. if i had been thinking ahead to high school i would have made one with some combo of letters from my name BUT unfortunately i didn't plan ahead.

i've seen programs out there that use the newer (non TOC) protocol to connect to AIM, and there is a way to actually query AOL for the "born-on" date

but i'd recommend turning your virus scanner on full blast before you go playing around on those "aim haxor" sites. the only 2 legit aim "hackers" (that i know of and endose) are xeon and seven

the only 2 sites i'd trust to download anything from. seven pretty much translated the protocol into THE VB control that all the script kiddies use to make the "password crackers" that plant viruses on people. xeon made a fully functioning AIM server in VB.

(i used to be really into that stuff when i had an interest in getting cool aim names and stealing passwords, i was so gay)

i have 2. one from 1997 (my name) that i made, and one made in 2000 (attack squadron) that i traded for in 2004 cause i thought it was awesome... and i couldnt crack vicodin.

God wanted a 3 or 4 character screen name, so i traded him the one he now uses for some klonopin
