my cat is large and in charge and i'm in a twin bed this summer at the parentals house. it is not a comfortable sleeping arrangement. she sleeps upside down sprawled out and i'm like crammed against the wall.

They can still sleep on the bed with you. But it's a cat and you're a person. It doesn't need as much room as you do so you can push it out of the way. They'll still sleep on the bed with you, but you'll be more comfortable.

ok i needed to bump a cat thread and since there's like 5000 and my story doesn't 100% pertain to any thread, i'm using this one.

this is my cat callie:


so this weekend i wasn't at home (parent's house) and they were with callie. when i got home today my mom was like "i don't want you to get upset but i have to tell you something about callie" and i was like, omg. so apparently my cat was playing with what LOOKED like her feather toy:


well my dad was watching her play and then noticed her toy was MOVING (this is in our sunroom, btw).

it turns out, callie was not playing with a feather toy, but a new friend who looks something like:


yea...a bat somehow got into our house. no one really knows how. and she was playing with it. LUCKILY it didn't bit her, luckily she is current on rabies, and unfortunately for the bat, i think it was either already wounded or my cat wounded it and my dad took it outside where it promptly died. now i'm scurred of bats in my house
