is anyone else getting a FUCKTON of spam this week in their gmail account?

i am, and it's all kinda similar. i'm thinking these guys beat the spam filter and realized it and went on a tear.

they all have the same titles. there are like 3 that rotate, i get one about every 10 minutes

i mean there are hundreds of emails in there every time i check. its actually fun to see how much mail i can get (although i had to make a filter to find my cashout info when i got my checks from those sites)

but i cant remember giving out my normal email over the internet at all, its for... people

I've been getting ALOT of spam lately

Like 100 messages a day. I can't complain since gmail catches it all, but I've just been a little shocked everytime I check my email.

oh, yeah, ive had my gmail account since (i think) june 2004.. and they rarely slip past the filter, maybe 100 in 4 years. and then like 100 this week.

so 99% or whatever it is isn't bad - but its just strange as hell that all the ones getting through are pushing the same 3 things

and i keep hitting "report spam" - but i guess they get billions of submissions a day. oh well

yep. well, i'm getting like 5-10 viagra emails a day.. i hadn't had a single one in at about a year until last week

yeah i have been getting a shit ton too. i've been reporting them as spam so hopefully the filter will adjust.

i like posting their email addresses... chances are that they don't have an actual human behind them (if the address exists at all)

but its all worth it if just one of them does once google picks it up, so will all the email address harvesters in the world. makes it hard to scam people if youre sorting through spam all day!!1
