i'm determined to be a size 6 with a 6pack abs. do you think i can make it in 2 months with working out 6 days a week for 1 hr to an 1 1/2 hrs? right now i'm a size 6/8 150lbs at 5'11''. semi flat stomach but def could use some tone. been working out for about 2 months 5-6 days a week already.

i've heard no matter what you do to tone up your abs, unless you are <10% body fat you'll never see it. don't know if that's bs or not. maybe someone else can confirm.

six packs are fucking hott on everyone. The editor of men's health wrote a book for men called The Abs diet. He later modified it and wrote one for women. It's a six week program designed around 12 powerfoods that must be consumed.

I was dieting (reduced calorie, but not really balanced) and working out 1.5 - 2 hrs, 5 days a week for about 6 months. As a result, I gained about 20 pounds. Got rid of a lot of the fat and gained some definition in my arms and legs, but the belly fat just won't go away.I think eating the right foods is probably more important than working your ass off.

I have a six pack. Talk to me about my dieting, supplement and workout schedule and see if you really want to carry out with your goal. Its not really that realistic unless you are naturally very low bodyfat and participating in a cardio-intense sport on a daily basis. Otherwise, the maintenance is ridiculous and 1 or 2 Cookout milkshakes will send your six pack into winter hibernation.PS: I actually used to listen to Britney spears when i was doing my 1250 calorie burns (that's about 73 minutes of level 5 interval training on the elliptical) for motivation. =p Silly I know.[Edited on August 11, 2008 at 8:16 AM.
