i think it is too but i'm not sure. i think plants are better than just flowers though. because you can keep them for longer (possibly years unless you kill them)! and you can send plants, too. even flowering plants!

I'll likely be getting my mom a card and a nice plant. I have been doing african violets, but we'll see if I do that again this year. I think they're out of room, so I need to find a different sort of plant to offer.

It has to be inexpensive though, unless I get a job offer by then. I hate having to choose between looking like a bad son and having money for a few days of groceries.

I'm making my Mom a video that has pictures of our family from the last 25 years with quotes from the Bible on what Motherhood means and putting the slideshow to songs about Mom's and her favorite songs. Then one sister will have flowers delivered and the other is getting Dad to take her out to breakfast (they live in WI). The combination of the three will be from the three of us.
