not a fan of the egg.

but i like apples and celery. not together. but both add crunch. yum.

chicken
chopped onion
chopped celery
mayo (not too much)
worcestershire sauce
salt & pepper
Maybe some toasted chopped walnuts (optional)

nope. because there are places that have the shredded kind!

i mean i think village deli's isn't chunky but i like theirs (though sometimes it has too much mayo)

and tookies grill before it was in that seaboard place and had yummy chxn salad had the like spread kind and it was still delish.

Sure it does, just butter it, toast it, and spread on some mustard and mayo.... delicious.

I like either sweet chicken salad, (fruit, walnuts, celery, etc.) savory chicken salad (eggs, relish, onions, etc.) or my basic chicken salad (toasted nuts or seeds, fresh herbs, [sometimes minced onion])

I used to agree, and I'm still not 100% on it. I only eat it when it's mixed with other stuff like chicken or tuna salad. I won't put it on a hot dog without a lot of mustard and onion....

I had it with grapes once and it was delicious. Grapes and walnuts, not sure if they still used celery

Yeah, the celery is optional. It mostly contributes crunch, not taste... so it goes with both sweet and savory salads.


That reminds me.... has anyone ever had this?
