when my toilet upstairs blew up and soaked through to the downstairs carpet while i was asleep, it took a humidifier the size of a fridge, and 3 huge fans about 72 hours to clean up. that was before i had to go back and dust the whole house

if you think youre getting out of this cheap, youre wrong

[Edited on May 26, 2009 at 1:50 AM. Reason : it was like under the carpet]

that and a blow dryer should do the trick. Its so humid here anyway i doubt anything short of an industrial strength dehumidifier would do much good anyway

right now my plan is to wait on maintenance tomorrow, since thats the first day they are back since it happened. i've had a box fan on the area for like 3 days straight now, its still a little damp. if they don't come i'll see if i can borrow the dehumidifier from work. i can def smell an odor coming from this.

[Edited on May 26, 2009 at 3:08 AM. Reason : not that bad of an odor but its definitely from the dampness]
