Any experience with them?

We had a pretty terrible experience with them. Were generally rude to us when communicating in general. Tried to blame some things on us that were not our fault.

When we moved out, we cleaned our place spotless, but they charged us itemized charges to clean everything again using their internal cleaning agency (where they can assign whatever price they want to clean your unit). We didn't get any of our deposit back.

I wouldn't recommend independent rental companies for the most part. If you can rent from an individual landlord, that can work out well. Otherwise I'd stick with an apartment complex.

^where is the place? a few friends and i just moved out of our place that we rented from barker, and i do not anticipate getting any of our deposit back. not only that, this is by far the most i've ever put into cleaning a place after moving out. the place was a 40+ year old house with a lot of problems typical of a 40 year old home, and it will not surprise me one bit if pre-existing issues come up during their final walkthrough and taken out of our deposit.

Sounds like you plan to not fight. In which case, don't complain.
