I don't get all the hyper training and weird workout routine crazes. If you're going to simulate all that stuff, why not just set up a work arrangement between the gym and some construction or public works sites to actually do the real thing? Don't just hit a giant tire with a sledgehammer; actually sledge something and have something productive to show for it at the end of the day. Don't let all that energy go to waste.
