7/16/2009 10:22:43 AM
“Put him in a body bag, Johnny, yeah!”
7/16/2009 10:22:57 AM
$60 that's double from last month
7/16/2009 10:23:28 AM
7/16/2009 10:27:31 AM
mine went from $155 to $230 this past month...ridiculous.
7/16/2009 10:28:31 AM
7/16/2009 10:29:04 AM
ours was $80
7/16/2009 10:29:49 AM
Ours has been regularly $300 That also includes water but something is SERIOUSLY wrong.
7/16/2009 10:30:09 AM
yeah mine spiked cuz i just started using the air and ive had more people over since the summer break started
7/16/2009 10:30:12 AM
wtf yall complain too muchmine was $240 AND THAT'S LOW!my winter bill runs $400-500 and the lowest i ever see is about $210of course i live in rocky mount where we have socialist utilities all controlled by the city. my gas, electric, water & sewer, trash, & recycling are all one bill. so it's not as dramatic as it sounds...but the winter bills are high no matter how you cut it.
7/16/2009 10:32:31 AM
pfftlast winter bills i remember were:elec: $160psnc: $540
7/16/2009 10:33:44 AM
mine was in the 90s, which is great compared to last summer.
7/16/2009 10:35:30 AM
$98.31, woot...i put in new insulation in march and this is the highest its been since
7/16/2009 10:39:25 AM
$104 this month$71 last month
7/16/2009 10:41:09 AM
it's also very much dependent on your house situation. i have a 1600 sf house built in 1964 that isn't very well insulated or sealed, except for the attic.
7/16/2009 10:45:29 AM
progress energy called to inform me i am being kicked off their equal payment plan. so this months bill is only $160 as opposed to the $238 i was paying on epp. way to stick it to me
7/16/2009 10:49:36 AM
what the hell do you people do in your homes? my girlfriend is laid off and is at home watching tv all day with the AC blasting, i live my computer on all the time, and i have numerous other appliances. My power bill never goes over 80. My gas is separate and that never goes above 80 in the winter. in total i don't exceed 120 any month of the year for gas/power/water.
7/16/2009 11:03:24 AM
^square footage?
7/16/2009 11:16:40 AM
^^free-standing house or apt or townhome? what do you consider blasting as far as temp? how old is your home?
7/16/2009 11:18:24 AM
know what i hate?fucking roommates who set the thermostat higher than 60 in the winter. put on a sweatshirt motherfucker
7/16/2009 11:19:11 AM
7/16/2009 11:20:18 AM
sounds like it was for his own good
7/16/2009 11:20:46 AM
Ours is an open loft with air vents on the FUCKING CEILING. After seeing the bill though we've turned the air up
7/16/2009 11:22:00 AM
what's wrong w/ vents in the ceiling? that's fairly popular now
7/16/2009 11:22:49 AM
all of my utilities were only $34 dollars last month
7/16/2009 11:32:27 AM
7/16/2009 11:38:20 AM
7/16/2009 11:39:15 AM
more than i want to pay
7/16/2009 11:53:57 AM
I think that ours was $55.00 last month. That's with 4 guys living in the same apartment
7/16/2009 12:12:24 PM
lots of people keeping me in a job ITTi would like to extend a thank you to all of you
7/16/2009 12:13:53 PM
Our gas bill is never more than $10.
7/16/2009 12:14:10 PM
do you have only a gas stove?
7/16/2009 12:15:43 PM
haha yeah and I think our heat is gas. BUT STILL NEENER
7/16/2009 12:16:30 PM
you're not heating your house w/ gas for $10 /month[Edited on July 16, 2009 at 12:18 PM. Reason : have you even lived there through the winter?]
7/16/2009 12:18:33 PM
Prog. Energy makes this too easy.
7/16/2009 12:22:18 PM
february was also my highest bill
7/16/2009 12:23:11 PM
7/16/2009 12:26:23 PM
spencer's gonna drop some HVAC knowledge in here
7/16/2009 12:27:42 PM
some real morons in here.
7/16/2009 12:41:51 PM
7/16/2009 1:48:07 PM
$26.00 bitches! But it's $3.00 up from last month.
7/16/2009 2:21:04 PM
I don't know why mine seems to always be so high
7/16/2009 2:29:38 PM
My roommate's 50" plasma burns through energy like the sun, but I'm not one to complain
7/16/2009 2:44:17 PM
I think ours was like $160 or something. It doesn't help that the GF is still unemployed so she is home all day.
7/16/2009 2:47:09 PM
$67.86not bad, but my old apartment (without a/c) used to be $30-35 a month in the summer
7/16/2009 2:47:18 PM
i think the power company is fucking stealing from me
7/16/2009 2:48:17 PM
We moved here in FEb. so we haven't done a winter yet. We cook alot with the gas stove (LOVE IT) but it's still cheap. Heating this is going to be awful. I have a feeling the electric fireplace is going to get a lot of use in our living room.
