obviously, you associate music with people and events, but i'm curious to see what sort of strange connections people have with a particular song and a particular location.

for instance, whenever i hear "dani california" by the red hot chili peppers, i think of this really cool hostel in vienna, austria (i remember watching the music video on one of the tvs in their lounge).

i always remember U2's "Beautiful Day" from my first trip to las vegas. It was a top hit around that time, so I heard it on the in-flight radio station. It was also my first time flying, and the video was shot at an airport, so I've always felt a connection there.
