Unlimited flights from Sept. 8th to Oct. 8th. $599.

So basically, who wants a visitor? I'm already taking two weeks off, and flying long weekends the other two weekends of the month.

So far I know I'll be heading to:

Los Angeles
San Diego
Raleigh
Boston
Charlotte
St. Maarten
Cancun
Orlando
Richmond
Austin

If you live in one of the above cities and we are friends, I'll be knocking on your door soon . I'm so excited for this, anyone else going for it?

I might, just to film a documentary (hit 30 airports in 30 days). I'm just impulsive and stupid enough to do it.

Dude, I will be in orlando, austin, tampa and raleigh during those dates. This could be entertaining! Btw, your guest room has a stripper pole. Is that okay?

People are pretty much saying the only two stereotypes that might enjoy this package are students and retirees. The Consumerist said students are just gonna blog about this shit for shits and giggles.

Business people would use it if they didn't have a limited number of airports they fly too. According to what I've read.

This would be nice to have in the future if Chicago wins the 2016 Olympics and the USA gets either the 2018, or 2022 FIFA World Cup.

It only lasts from 9.8.09 - 10.8.09, so hopefully these major events can be bumped by a few years.

They fly to a lot of major hubs: http://www.jetblue.com/wherewejet/

qntmfred: I'll holler when I'm in Charlotte, going to visit my sister, but we should definitely meet up

lucy: Send me dates so I can mooch off you

My buddy and I were talking about this exact same thing earlier today. If I could take a month off work and had the extra money this would be so fucking fun.

I know how long it lasts, but I am just saying it would be nice to have a deal like this during a major sporting event that lasts multiple weeks. Even for the CONCACAF Gold Cup it would be nice. The USA played in Seattle, New York, and Boston this summer.

Wait, I misread your dates. I return from austin on 9/7. BUT, haven't set my Raleigh date, and with my class schedule for the next couple of months, I'll be in central florida any weekend you want. I can even leave you my house key if you need my place when I'm not here.

Plus, I have a hookup w/starwood hotels(westin, w, st regis), so I'll send you a discount booking link tomorrow. Mooch away, baby!

my buddy is really pushing this on me. He can get us employee rates on all the hotel stays so if I can round up 2 grand and take a month off work I'll have the best vacation of my life ahead of me.

I don't think you'd need anything near that much. Hell in most of the major cities, the hostels in the US are better than a lot of hotels. For 20-30 bucks a night.

I DROVE around the US for 2 months several years ago, and only spent like 1,400 bucks total. I thought I spent a shitload of money too.

If they did this in February I'd be all over it.
There is a plethora of fun stuff to do in NC during the early fall though. Gotta get those last wakeboard runs in and stuff.

I did this when Independence Air was still in business
for $250. You paid the taxes only, which was like 20-40 bucks r/t if I remember correctly. Went to Vegas, New York, and Orlando for a total of about $340 bucks for
three trips. Not too bad. It was good for like 3 months of the summer. I think they filed for bankruptcy that winter.

Of course, now I fly for free so...

i didn't realize they flew to so many places - this would be awesome if I had the time....

so to get this straight, there are $0 in additional costs for all domestic flights, including baggage fees?

what do international taxes run on a trip to say....mexico?

^yep, no hidden fees for domestic flights.

Taxes to mexico/central america seem to run 50-60 bucks, carribean is like 100-125. Just depends. St. Maarten is normally a $450+ ticket, with ~90 in taxes and fees. So I'll gladly suck it up.

looks fun, did you book flights already? my only concern would be them not having seats available on a flight you really want/need.

I read you have to pay taxes on top of the base fee for each leg of the flight you take. Is this true?
