^^I could honestly care less what anyone does out there... I just don't like the groups of like 20 people playing a single hole just tossing a frisbee around, dicking around, and wasting everyone elses time

I pretty much don't play Kentwood anymore because it's just too crowded. Those huge groups are terrible and most times they won't let you play through.

Too many stoned college kids! Get off my lawn!!

I saw the holes when i took my dog swimming in Lake Raleigh. I get NCSU Centennial Partnership emails since I'm a resident living on Centennial Campus. It was in that e-mail.

^^^ the big downhill at Ashe is #9, i think that's what you mean.

but, 18 at hickory is bad ass, something about tossing over that holler makes it seem way longer than it really plays. only played it once, but parked it i think.

Middle Creek is my jam. I went out there and helped clear fairways before the course was officially opened so I have a special place in my heart for that course. They are in the process right now of changing hole 1 and adding concrete teeboxes to all the holes.

yeah i would say nice teepads are the only thing truely missing out there.

the hole (9?) where the pin is up on the giant steep dirt mound is hilareous with a lot of moderately skilled people. i have never seen discs roll quite so far with so much cussing.

^9 is the worst for roll-offs. If you don't get it in the basket or resting nicely on the ridge, that fucker will roll for days.

I'm still waiting to get a 2 on that hole. I usually have a decent drive that lands at the base of the hill, but can't seem to close the putt. But then again, my putting is horrible.

yeah the only roll i have ever had worse than that is at the course in Blacksburg...

hole 16 (i believe) runs along the top of a ridge. my drive went a little sideways and hit the edge of the ridge...i walked over just in time to see it wagon wheel the ENTIRE way to the bottom through an insane amount of obstacles. had to have been a solid 300-400ft roll. my dad felt so bad for me he screamed, "MULLIGAN!" and went running down the hill to retrieve it for me

ha actually we did it backwards...i got into it and then showed my 60 yr old dad

being retired and having lots of free time he decided he was going to get awesome (built his own course in the yard) at it and kick my ass (which he did)

of course i believe he might have had a predisposition toward disc golf being a long time drinker/toker/hippie

^^oh and i don't know about that...you sound like you have got your game together

now I'm jealous that your dad has a course in his backyard. I want one!
