I bought an adult sized elmo costume. No one will be expecting me to dress like a muppet that is targeted at entertaining children 5 and younger. I have already been asked by multiple people what I will be dressing as. They are holding me to high standards after the solar shades/hover board costume last year.

At one point I wanted to go as President Lincoln with a bullet in his head since they sell those glue on bullet wounds, but everyone I mentioned it to acted like it would be inappropriate to go as an assassinated US president.

^You have a point, but on Friday the 30th I will be at a house party and there might be a few young kids there for the first hour. The next night we are going out to the bar somewhere, so I can always make a different sign.

This is still one of the best costumes I have ever seen online. Maybe next year.

^^It was a Back to the Future II themed costume. Those sun glasses were sold at Pizza Hut in 1989 to promote the new movie BTTFII. I was a State fan from the future. I had the shades and made the hover board out of card board and poster board. Then I took the below photo and made a pin to pin to my shirt, but put a bar code over the 30 and told everyone NC State had just won the championship.
