Not to mention a Michinoku Driver II

so is that shit real or what? i am serious! the hits, kicks, etc, look and sound too real to be fake. or i guess it is a hybrid; the wrestlers are talented and strong athletes who can weather pain and blows, and they try to hit as light as possible, but they (the blows) would still hurt a normal human?

oh, and of course, it is all pre-planned and roughly choreographed, right?

btw, large titties on the zombie chick.

go to 6:03... they are fucking crazy... and made of steel

It all depends on who's working. Some people hit harder than others. Generally speaking, you're dealing with a lot of pain. Just because the Michinoku driver is delivered in such a way that it doesn't actually drop someone on their head doesn't mean it doesn't hurt. However, while everything does hurt, keep in mind that in companies like WWE, the wrestlers have shows six days a week, so you do your absolute best to avoid anything that would cause actual injury.

With damn good wrestlers like Ayoko Hamada and Daffney, the ending is planned, the table spot is planned, and everything else is probably called on the fly.

BTW, if you think that moonsault is nuts, watch the spot of the year:

Ignore the terrible music.

how does that chick fight with huge implants like that, esp against that giant 270 lb black chick? i mean, one wrong hit and they could break/tear/leak.

They're built to withstand porno bouncing. You think a little powerslam is gonna hurt them?

According to Daffney, thumbtacks hurt less than tattoos.

Anyway, Smackdown is the best wrestling show on TV by far, but the women's segments on TNA are up there as far as actual wrestling talent goes.

Backflip where you land on your stomach.

Can be standing or off the turnbuckle.

If it's turnbuckle to outside of the ring, it's an Asai moonsault.

If you springboard off the middle rope, it's a Lionsault.

Ok, but when done correctly, both of those moves aren't THAT dangerous. even when the Screwdriver is done properly, it is pretty easy to hurt someone.

If you hurt someone, you didn't do it properly.

But yes, I will agree that pile drivers of any sort have a much smaller margin of error as far as injuries go, especially with a release like that.

BTW, I loves me a spike dragonrana:

Actors use their skills to portray people they are not.

Wrestlers use their skills to portray people they are not.

Actors portray these people in front of cameras or a live audience, and sometimes both.

Actors are told to follow a script. They are sometimes allowed to improvise certain parts of their performance.

^^

That's so fucking stupid. It is like going up to an actor and asking him if the shooting of guns is fake or not, and he shoots you with a live round and says "Is this fake?"

But I guess sheep will enjoy that video.

And I hope that animal was prosecuted and convicted of assault.

I mean, actors like these: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0813715/fullcredits#cast are told to produce shit, only they aren't athletic and their jobs are far easier and the story lines are far less interesting.

"On December 28, 1984, during an interview for 20/20 on professional wrestling, wrestler David Schultz struck Stossel after Stossel asked whether professional wrestling was fake. Stossel stated that he suffered from pain and buzzing in his ears eight weeks after the assault.[29] Stossel sued and obtained a settlement of $425,000 from the WWF. In his book, Myths, Lies, and Downright Stupidity, he writes that he has come to regret doing so, having adopted the belief that lawsuits harm hundreds of innocent people.[30][31] Schultz maintains that he attacked Stossel on orders from Vince McMahon, the head of the then-WWF.[32]"

Never heard of this before, but Mickie James ruptured an implant last weekend during a match at a house show.

Less than a month after it happened to Mickie James, Gail Kim has also suffered a ruptured implant as a result of a front bump during a match.
