Tamiflu works on this, so if she takes that then she will be fine.

Quote :
"Tamiflu Loaded With Side Effects, Including Death and Can Only Reduce Symptoms by 36 Hours at BEST

Please realize that Tamiflu is NOT a safe drug Serious side effects include convulsions, delirium or delusions, and 14 deaths in children and teens as a result of neuropsychiatric problems and brain infections Japan actually banned Tamiflu for children in 2007.

Remember, Tamiflu went through some rough times not too long ago, as the dangers of this drug came to light when, in 2007, the FDA finally began investigating some 1,800 adverse event reports related to the drug.

Additionally common side effects of Tamiflu include:

Nausea
Vomiting
Diarrhea
Headache
Dizziness
Fatigue
Cough
All in all, the very symptoms you're trying to avoid.

Additionally, Tamiflu has been reported to be ineffective against seasonal flu outbreaks, and may not be sufficient to combat an epidemic or pandemic.

But making matters worse, some patients with influenza are at HIGHER risk for secondary bacterial infections when on Tamiflu. And secondary bacterial infections, as I mentioned earlier, was likely the REAL cause of the mass fatalities during the 1918 pandemic!

But here’s the real kicker.

When Tamiflu is used as directed (twice daily for 5 days) it can ONLY reduce the duration of your influenza symptoms by 1 to 1 ½ days, according to the official data.

Why on earth would anyone want to take a drug that has a chance of killing you, was banned in Japan, is loaded with side effects that mimic the flu itself, costs over $100, and AT BEST can only provide 36 hours of SYMPTOM relief. Just doesn't make any sense.

Please recognize that there is serious revenue in Tamiflu. The Financial Times reports that governments around the world have previously stockpiled 220 million doses in preparation for a pandemic that has yet to appear. The cost of this preparation is $7 billion dollars. "

I'm taking Tamiflu and Vicodin twice a day. I think it may have done wonders. I had a 102.3 fever yesterday and today and this evening my temperature is down to 99.5. The chills are mostly gone, which is nice. I did wake up from a nap completely drenched and when I went to the bathroom, I was delirious. I was talking non-sense to my fiance and called her mom twice apparently. It was almost like I was tripping. I was definately light headed adn disoriented, but no significant side effects. I did have Diro

^^^^Yeah, they just do a rapid flu test, and if it is positive they call it H1N1 because that is the prevalent strand right now.

I'm kinda concerned that I have it now, I've had some slight symptoms for the past 2 days.

Gee, is it really common to prescribe Vicodin to somebody that has the Flu, even if it is the H1N1 garbage? Seems like tamiflu + OTC painkillers would be enough, and you likely wouldn't be out of your mind fucked up on medication.

You're not going to be "out of your mind fucked up" on any doctor prescribed dosage of Vicodin unless you mix it with Alcohol or some other drug.

he gave me Vicodin b/c of my severe cough and said that the codene in it is the same active ingredient as cough syrup...i hate the taste of cough syrup, so i am happy to eat Vic's in lieu of that syrup.

When i had this back in June, i was really bad for about 2 days... 103/104 fever at the highest (didn't stay that high very long), chills to the point I had to go take a hot shower, even though i knew it would bring my fever back up... and i'm a dude who doesn't normally get cold.

I was mentally out of it on my really bad day at the peak... i didn't remember saying some of the things i said... i told my wife that the Dr. didn't prescribe me anything while we were on the way back from urgent care, and then asked her where my medicine was when we got home.

I'm not sure if the regular flu has symptoms like that or not... I haven't had the regular flu since i was a kid...

by the second day my fever was lower, but then the third day it was gone. I still had to miss work for 5 days or so because i work for summer camps in the summer. (it was the first week of camp.)

it's largely media hype. they're trying to scare people into taking these bullshit vaccines. the same thing happened back in 1976, there was a bunch of propaganda to get people to take the vaccine and the thing is, more people died from the vaccine than the actual flu itself. the vaccine also caused thousands of cases of guillain-barre syndrome.
