i don't really hate grad school specifically, i just assumed the teaching would be, you know, better?

also having 9th order polynomials with coefficients 6 digits long is bullshit and takes forever to write out

eh, I generally enjoyed grad school. hated my stats, quantitative theory, structural equation modeling classes.... but loved everything else. I especially loved my thesis work and experimentation

Grad school was hard... but very rewarding and I loved the challenge...

I love life way better now that I'm done with Grad school but I liked Grad school way better than my job I had right out of undergrad...

It was totally worth everything and I have some ridiculous memories and know that after not sleeping for 40 hours everything becomes funny...

i drank MUCH more during grad school than undergrad... the difference is that in grad school you often drink with your professors. (of course we did undergrad too - geolgists are special.)

I partied tons more in grad school than undergrad. But that's not saying much, because I was pretty tame in undergrad.
