(words)

so we're at the Outer Banks this weekend for her sister's wedding and this is the first time i'm meeting her family. She leaves me alone to mingle and anyone on here who has met me knows i'm a social butterfly. So i'm going around, introducing myself and having a great time while drinking the free booze. I start getting REAL drunk because when i'm nervous, i drink. Reason #1...she looks over at me across the room while i'm talking to her parents (they aren't drinking) and i pull a flask out of my jacket pocket and take a swig; LOOK OF DEATH. Reason #2 Her cousins come up to her and tell her how they think it's awesome she's dating Danny from Road Rules.....yes, i told everyone in her family that I was on road rules.

#2 is great.

#1...apparently, you aren't doing her right; otherwise, she wouldn't be so uptight.

I don't think there was ever a contestant on Road Rules named Danny.

There was, however, a cast member named Danny on Real World: New Orleans.

He was a homosexual. Like you.

youre talking to the wrong crowd about this shit, some people brought a damn flask into our best friends wedding and drank off it in the CHURCH

not naming any names here

and just to clarify, it was not me, i did not condone it and im not bragging

just saying, a lot worse has been done than bringing a flask into the rehearsal dinner

People still carry flasks?

I thought that was a high school field trip/college sporting event thing.

my boyfriends 80 year old grandmother carries a flask in her purse to spike her coffee at restaurants

i dont think a flask at a wedding is tacky (esp if its open bar!) but i've been to very few weddings so im the last person to ask about do's and donts

askmen.com's guide to using a flask says to not bring it to weddings

regardless of what other people have done at weddings/wedding events, if my bf pulled out a flask, I would give him a LOOK OF DEATH too

You were drinking out of the flask on the way down...

So now you drink and drive like it's cool.

When it isn't.
