Not sure why I haven't done this already . . . anyway, The Rose Hotel is due out on the 29th. His newer albums haven't been as strong as some of his older stuff, but I'm still looking forward to it.

He was in Tuscaloosa a couple of weeks ago, but tickets were only available to University of Alabama students.

He has yet to come within 4 hours of southern Alabama since Halloween of last year. To be fair, nobody does and I can't blame them.

Yeah, he's been a bunch of places I would normally be able to go to if I was back in NC, but he has never been less than 4 hours from lower Alabama.
