boring, boring 4 hour telecon starting in 15 minutes. god *really* does hate me today.

at least it is a telecon rather than a f2f; i don't think i could stand having to really pay attention to these people for that length of time. and i can get a lot of work done because one of my supposed skills is multitasking. aha

Ah, project management. The strange role of being the project leader, without any real accountability in regards to said projects. Basically, you sit back and point fingers, and when the shit hits the fan, the people at fault are always your subordinates, rather convenient eh?

whats funny is that this manager in particular likes to make these elaborate flow chart looking things in some microsoft app I've never used and takes like a week to do it. often I'm done with the whole thing before he's done emailing everyone my process.

I was on a conference call for about five and a half hours earlier this week. About 12-15 collaborators all having a working meeting, and I was the only one who was calling rather than being able to make it in person. Booooring.
