Better than I expected. I bought a DVD burner yesterday (even used it) and today found something similar online -- got 2 for the price of the one from Wal-Mart. I told them exactly what happened and they were more than happy to accept the return. Thanks Wal-Mart. Sorry whoever buys a "new" DVD burner from that Wal-Mart (or do they sell it as open-box at or around wholesale cost?).

^^it's true, when I worked at Media Play and someone brought something that we couldn't take back I would tell them to take it to wal mart, they will always take it back...a few years later Media Play went out of business....I'm probably the reason.

so one time we bought a lawnmower from Wal Mart for the exclusive purpose of fucking it up. We would pour transmission fluid (ATF) into it to see how much smoke we could make, often in random public parking lots or at Autozones. we ended up breaking the pull start mechanism. we just stuffed the disgusting mower (full of oily residue etc) back into the box and exchanged it for another one.
