I have no gall bladder these days, it's no big deal after a long time, but expect like a solid year of "digestive issues" with greasy food and other bad shit to eat in particular. ]

My son's physical therapist had her's out recently. She's a very healthy lady who expected to bounce back quickly, but she says that recovery was harder than expected. She only had a few small incisions from the instruments, but had discomfort for quite awhile. I was actually impressed with the incisions because I saw my grandmother and uncle's huge scars from back in the day before they could do things laproscopically.

obviously it's best to drink (and, for that matter, do everything) in moderation...but it really won't affect your ability to get completely plastered. you'll most likely see worse beer shits the next morning because of a couple things (including the fact that bile is now continuously going into your intestine), but that's about it.
