... anyhow, i believe the story. it fits a lot of the characterizations of John Philips, who was a huge drug user, drug trafficer, and well known to be attracted to minor girls.

I believe she's coming out with this publicly primarily to heal. i mean, that's got to be about the most damaging sort of shit. how do you get over something like that?

a second consideration is to promote her book. I imagine with all her past drug problems she needs some cash.
