I just realized I booked my flight 1 day later than expected. If I call them 24 hours before my desired flight time and there are lets say 15 empty seats on that flight, wil they let me reschedule? anybody familier with the policies. I know they would never advertise something like this but if I call and try to make it work will I get embar. or taken care of?

About six years ago, this was ridiculously easy to do. Shouldn't be a problem.
